  3. This is version 1.0 of ADFormat, an Autodoc formatting utility. To use it,
  4. you must at least read the "Legal Stuff" node in the ADFormat.guide Amigaguide
  5. file.

  7. Note: If you don't have AmigaGuide, then you can almost read the Guide file
  8. with a plain text reader. Just ignore the @xxx commands. Even better, get
  9. yourself the AmigaGuide archive from AmiNet or somewhere. Commodore has
  10. by now released AmigaGuide as freely distributable.

  14. What is ADFormat?
  15.  
  16. ADFormat is a utility to format AutoDocs which where converted to AmigaGuide 
  17. with the AD2HT utility. These files all have an ugly layout, with no 
  18. justification, no multi-column output and all different sized buttons. ADFormat
  19. tries to correct this. It reads in the @NODE MAIN of an Autodoc file and
  20.  
  21.     - Searches the largest button in the node and extends all other buttons
  22.       according to this one, so that all buttons become the same size.

  24.     - Optionally formats the button to an adjustable number of columns, thus
  25.       giving you more buttons on screen on one page.

  27.     - Optionally inserts a "Back to Autodoc-it"-Button at the top of the
  28.       list, so that you can return to autodoc-it (if you use it at all)
  29.       without having to set a bookmark or going to thousands of RETRACEs.

  34. ADFormat was kind of a quickie, I wrote it on one afternoon in august, and
